Our Base setting supports learners who need the freedom and flexibility that an on-site campus provides. Amongst other curriculum approaches at Base, the Arts are a fundamental focus for teaching and learning, to support the growth of social skills, self-awareness and self-confidence/independence. The foundation of all our teaching and learning is based upon the reciprocity of adult/learner relationships; reading and intuiting what our learners individually need and adapting the space and programming to allow for this. We are unique and ever-evolving. We also include Tertiary Hub classes within the Base unit.
