Enrolment

The school board has made the difficult decision to close our role and we are unable to accept any new enrolments for the foreseeable future.  This is due to the cancellation of several building projects by the Ministry of Education, which means that we will not be able to grow our role as expected.  

Existing waitlist:  Families who have currently expressed an interest in enrolling at Oaklynn School will be kept on the waiting list, but it is not envisioned that any places will be available due to the cancellation of building work and expansion to classrooms.

How you can make a difference:  We know this news is concerning for many families and our community.  But there's hope! We can reopen our school roll if we work together. We are urging parents to please write to the Ministry of Education and your local MPs, expressing your concerns about the cancelled building projects. Please spread the word and encourage other parents and community members to participate; your voice, combined with others, can make a difference. Together, we can create a brighter future for our school and our children.
